Reducing Stressful Appointments

We understand that going to the dentist is very stressful for many.  While it may not be possible to totally eliminate the stress, there are many ways to reduce your fears!  Here are a few ways:

  • Come to your appointment at least 15 minutes early to avoid rushing
  • Request early appointments in the day
  • Inform our staff of your anxiety

In special circumstances, we can prescribe stress reducing medications or provide nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to some patients.  This should be thought of as one of the last option due to the need for additional fees, time, and precautions.
